  1. Mix milk, haldi and almond paste, apply it all over the face and neck and even hands.....wait for 10-15 minutes and wash off with cold water. It is an excellent lightener.

STRAIGHT CUT CHURIDAR

Hello friends.....out of all the pattern of churidar cutting i like this cutting the best and as always its very easy and more over you can make it with the belt or without it.....including this... this churidar without the belt can be sew for the boys and men.. so here is the tutorial.

First take the cloth, fold it from the center and mark it, in below picture you can see that i have taken the full 2 metre cloth and folded it from the center and marked it.
Note........from the cloth part near the legs we are going to make the belt.
and here is the belt cutting with the measurements.
and in the below picture i have kept the belt above the churidar cutting for the beginners to know as where to stitch the belt.

and you have to cut a triangle, i have kept it in the place where it is to be stitch....the traingle piece is used for the comfort for sitting down and the churidar does not tear soon from the center.......
First stitch the belt and keep it a side.
then the triangle....both the sides
and then the other side of the churidar.
in the below picture i have kept the belt where it must be stitch.
take the belt and mark the sides or give a small cut.....you have to start stitching the belt from the center of the back till this mark
a close up of the small cut.
and when you finish the back part of stitching, you have to start from the center in the front..putting the pleats for the gather of the extra cloth....
Note.....the pleats must be all near the center.
same view.
when you finish stitching the belt....turn over and stitch the churidars legs...and stitch the bottom
and your straight churidar is ready.

I have used a very simple language for all to understand ........i myself have learn stitch mostly at home and don't know the terms used for the cutting..........you can please suggest me if you have the other names for the same concepts.
Thankyou all.....and please leave in a comment as to know that whether my effort are worth to post .

SALWAR KAMEEZ PATTERN

I happen to see this design of salwar kameez from my friends daughter's dress collections.
Its a bit different as the belt of the salwar has a side design or a design patch which will be visible with the kameez on top of it.......as the kameez has a curve side cut.  It really looks pretty.
I hope the pictures will explain a lot what i am trying to say...

BALLOON FROCK TUTORIAL

This frock pattern is for 1- 3 years old.
First cut the top back and front with the measurement as in the diagram. The full shoulder length is 10inch, and the length is 11inch. The diagram shows the folded cloth and the cutting,
The difference is only for the measurement of back and front neck. You can cut the arms together for the top and then separate the back and front cloth and cut the back neck – 2inch and front neck – 3icnh.
Note: the yellow on the waist side is half inch cutting to give the shape to the dress.

When you finish cutting the front and the back part of the top.Take the front part of the top and cut the front arm as shown in the below diagram [blue colour].
Note: it must not be very deep just 1cm i.e. half inch, and for the beginners you can just let the front and back arm cutting be the same.

After doing this you have to take the contract cloth of the same measurement of the front top and mark it as shown in the below diagram [pink colour]
Note: the space between is half inch, written in red. The contrast cloth has to be two piece or you can take the lining for the inside clothing.

You have to stitch this first and invert i.e. pull inside out and stitch it on the front top. The green line shows where you have to stitch in the next diagram.

When you finish this attach this to the front top on the top side and on the sides shown in red color.

Finish of making the neck and keep it aside.

Take the back top part; you have to cut it from the center to put the zip or hugs. You can cut till the half length of the back or full as in the diagram.

First finish off putting the zip or the patti for the hugs, then make the neck. When finished, stitch the both the shoulder of the top together. Keep it aside.

Now cut the umbrella sleeves for the dress
Finish the sleeves with zigzag or piping for the outer part and stitch it to the finish top part of the dress which you had earlier kept aside.
Stitch the sides of the top if you have taken the bottom of one full length.

Now let me show you the bottom cutting which is very easy. You have to take two cloth pieces; one the main fabric and other the lining.
The length of the main bottom fabric can be taken to the length of your desire, the more length the more balloony the frock will be.
Note: but the inside lining must be of length just 10 inch more then front waist length.
The bottom can be of back and front part cutting or just one full length and joint only at the one side.
Given below is the diagram for bottom cutting of the balloon frock. Cut two piece of fabric and two of lining for back and front. Bottom outside means the main fabric and bottom inside means the lining.

Now after you finish the bottom cutting.
First make lose frill with machine or needle on both the sides of the main fabric. Pull it to the exact length of the waist and stitch it to the waist.
The other side you have to pull till the exact length of the inner lining and stitch it to the lining.
After this you have to stitch the both sides of the frock. Then take the lining side and stitch it to the waist of the frock. And when you have finished this your balloon frock is ready.

Note: after you have finish making the dress email the photo of your dress so that I can display it in my blog…..and if there’s anything you didn’t understand in my tutorial do email me and I will make it more simpler for you.
Thankyou …………and best of luck in your stitching.

CLUTCH

My niece wanted a clutch so made one for her..........and am sharing a very simple way of making one..

take a desire length you want and stitch a layer of stiffening and a lining over it.

turn over and stitch a border or leave it as it is and at a required distance stitch a small piece of velcro.

take an another piece of the same cloth ....must be 1inch longer then the earlier piece of cloth ...stitch a zip and pockets to this cloth.

then stitch the other part of velcro at the top of the zip.

After finishing these two sides, attach them together and invert it i.e. inside out. And again stitch a straight line all around the clutch and your clutch is ready to use. heres the finished work pics...

UMBRELLA SLEEVES

The cloth has to be rectangle and must become a square when folded for the cutting of umbrella sleeves. The red mark of 8inch is the arm side i.e. you have to stitch this to the arms of your dress. As you do the cutting of the umbrella frock; the all around measurement of the sleeves must be same in the diagram its 5inch.

There is no cutting for the arm you have to just stitch it straight to the dress. If you don’t like the hanging near the armpit side then you can give it the cut as shown below[pink colour]
